Lara (7 years old): Four. Two sister in laws and two real sisters.

Lilla will soon get married to Nephi

Elena: She is so stupid!!

Lara: Why?

Elena: She is soo stupid!! Because she gets married! I hate married!! I hate married!!

Lara: Why?

Elena: Because then she will be married and have to kiss!

Lara: yes that’s true.

Elena: I kissed a boy before. Tommy.

But not in this country

When I lived in Egypt

Lara: You know Letesha in Fundino?

He has 6 girlfrinds

Elena: Really?

Lara: Yes! He likes his girlfriends.

He is only 5 years old!

Elena: I like Tommy and his mum.

I miss them.

They are not in Egypt anymore.

They had to go.

Lara: Why?

Elena: There was a pobblem a pobblem (problem)

Lara: What problem?

Elena: Old black people in Egypt had money! So they left. It is bad when old black people have money.

They were throwing stuff were fire was coming out. We saw it on the internet!

Don't you ever dare to take my chocolate without my permission!

Yes, sleeping in till 5.30am is not the case anymore. We are back to the good old, waking up at 4.30am. So that's how my days start. At 5.30 Dad, Mum and I leave home to go to the factory. Mum and I work up in the office. I do whatever my Dad needs me to do, but mostly inventory stuff. Nothing to get too excited about.
Anyways, we have a very nice couple here from Hungary who help with the production, because they have worked for us in Hungary for over 15 years and know their stuff! :) They give us some treats sometimes. Today the guy gave my Mum and me some Chocolate. I left it on the table for a little later. Suddenly my cheeky Mother grabs it and asks me if it would be OK if she ate it. I said no of course! She smiled at me while she satrted unwrapping it! For realz???!! My blood pressure rose suddenly and I got up to grap it from her (she sat across the table). My mum knew what I wanted to do so while she started eating! the chocolate she ran away...actually just around the table. So there we were. The 21 year old daughter chasing her somewhat older mother around the table in the office for some chocolate. I couldn't believe it! How could my mum be so rude to me! She enjoyed watching my face a lot! She was laughing!! When I almost got her she told me that was not really my chocolate she ate her own and pretended to eat mine and laughed!!!!!!! I took my chocolate straight away and ate it so she won't get any funny ideas again! I wish this experience would have been recorded. Luckily there was no one in our office but there are glass windows towards the next office so I wouldn't be too surprised if someone there saw us. They were probably just shaking their heads and thinking: white people are so wierd!

ICH BIN EIN BERLINER!

I received my Mission Call on

January 5th to serve as a Missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Berlin, Germany Mission!

I enter the Preston, England MTC on April 1st (no joke). :)

The mission call was actually sent to my old address in Provo, but Stephanie (my brother Ephraim's wife) and Ephraim were kind enough to pick it up and they got to open it for me.
I was so excited when they showed me the envelope over webcam that I started feeling dizzy! One of my brothers recorded the whole thing -how I looked at the envelope and read the mission call- because I wanted to post it on facebook for friends and extended family members but I decided to preserve my somewhat sane reputation and keep the video for myself. :)
The point of the video is that I was very excited to receive my mission call and I am very excited to serve in the Berlin, Germany Mission.
